For Christmas I got a neato webcam\digital camera that does up to 1.3 Mpx pictures and digital video. (Thanks Yani) It takes SmartMedia and can do about 40 seconds of 30 frames/sec video on an 8M card. So I got me a couple extra cards from Grant. An 8M and a 16M. I have only filled up all three cards once. And of course it’s a neato webcam too. So I decided to resurrect the old watch-face can’t-see-what’s-going-on webcam, only do it right this time. So I tried out a few different ideas and settled on the state-of-the-art, top-of-the-line, out-of-the-box, end-to-end, end-all-be-all, super-ultra-mega-dyna video-bat-phone. Now I have it uploading all day while I am here at the office. We may set it up as a security camera to spy on that shifty night janitor that pokes through everyone’s stuff but I usually take it with me because it is after all, a digital camera and digital video camera as well. Maybe I will create a gallery of some kind one of these days.
